Northumbrian Gifts
A family business, Northumbrian Gifts was established by Stephen and Katrina Wanless in April 2004. Based in Ashington in Northumberland, we assemble and pack bespoke packaging gifts. As business developed our contact with small producers increased. Our awareness of some of the superb food and drink produce available throughout the North of England developed in parallel. From these contacts the idea of Northumbrian Gifts began to take shape. Working in partnership with DB Status (IT company based in North Shields) and our background of working within the service and drinks retail and wholesale industries a plan was formed. The concept was to promote and retail the finest local produce from the counties that once formed ancient Northumbria. We present these gifts in a bespoke gift format. To provide not just opportunities to sell these products to customers in the North of England, but also to a world wide audience via the internet. We have subsequently enjoyed orders from many former ‘Northumbrians’ in the USA, Switzerland, Sweden and Australia.
