|Allendale Brewery is based in Allendale, South West Northumberland. This is the first commercial brewing of beer in Allendale since 1887 when the original brewery closed due to the collapse of the local lead mining industry and subsequent rural depopulation.|
|The Durham Brewery launched in August 1994 at the Durham CAMRA Beer Festival where they were awarded beer of the festival with Celtic.Bottle-conditioned beers were started in 2000 with "Millennium City" in celebration of Durham's two thousand years. This beer is now known as St Cuthbert. An adventurous bottle range is now available from the lightest 3.8% to the darkest 10%.|
|HADRIAN & BORDER BREWERY|
|The Border Brewery was re-established in 1992 by husband and wife team Andy and Shona Burrows. Increasing popularity and demand, have seen the brewery move to a purpose built built 35 barrel plant at Newburn on the banks of the Tyne. Now known as the Hadrian & Border brewery and a brewing team of 10 they have established a reputation across North East England and Southern Scotland for draft and bottled beers with distinctive flavours and quality.|
Jarrow Brewery commenced brewing in
October 2002, based at The Robin
Hood Public House, Jarrow on South
In March 2013 the brewery acquired new premises in order to expand their capacity five-fold. In October of the same year production started on the new 40 barrel plant at Bede Industrial Estate.
