Our Northumbria | Inspired by Northumberland

Northumberland coastline near Craster

Northumbria is more than a place on a map. It is a shared history, culture, and way of life rooted in the North of England.

Historically, Northumbria referred to the ancient kingdom that stretched from southern Scotland to the Humber estuary. Today, the spirit of Northumbria lives on through the landscapes, food, craftsmanship and traditions of the wider North East. With Northumberland at the heart of everything we do.

This connection to place inspires the food, drink and hamper collections we curate. They are chosen to be gifted, shared, or enjoyed simply because they are good.

Landscapes That Inspire

Hadrian's Wall Northumberland

From sweeping coastlines and open countryside to market towns and historic villages, the North has a character shaped by land, weather and time.

These landscapes influence the flavours we enjoy, the slower pace of life we value and the thoughtful way we curate things worth sharing or keeping for yourself.

Food, Drink and Craft

The North has a long tradition of making that is practical, honest and rooted in place.

Many of the products we stock come from Northumberland and the wider historic Northumbrian region. They are selected for their connection to local food and drink traditions. When something we love is not available locally, we occasionally source from further afield. We are always guided by quality, character and craftsmanship.

Every product earns its place in our collections because it feels right, not simply because of where it is made.

A Personal Connection

Bamburgh Castle and Beach Northumberland

Northumbria is not just a historical idea for us. It is personal.

Both of us were born and raised in Northumberland, with strong family ties to the coast and to rural communities. From generations connected to the sea, including time spent fishing, farming and with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, to being married at Bamburgh Castle, these places and experiences quietly shape how we curate and care for everything we sell.

Living and working in the region today, our connection to the North continues to guide what we do.

Thoughtfully Curated and Rooted in Place

Our collections are inspired by the North, its landscapes, flavours, traditions and sense of generosity.

Whether something is bought as a gift, shared around a table, or enjoyed quietly at home, every item reflects our belief that good things do not need an occasion.

Rooted in Northumberland and inspired by Northumbria, our collections celebrate everyday enjoyment as much as thoughtful gifting.
