Beware the curse of the Guffy. It is told that a fisherman’s tale of ill-fated fortune & tragedy at sea, was blamed on the sole hog on board. From then til today, it is considered the way to never read, write or mutter the three letter word.
The first & only Rum to be distilled & aged in Northumberland, aged for 12 months in 793's tiny distillery on Holy Island. A piece of Island folklore in a bottle, Guffy Rum is distilled with Blackstrap Molasses, Vanilla & Coconut. It is then aged in heavy charred American Oak casks for a unique & smokey flavour.
